Programs to help you thrive.
Research and our own experience show that residents who exercise regularly, eat healthily, challenge their minds, and stay socially and spiritually connected enjoy a higher quality of life. They’re happier, healthier, more engaged and more energized. It’s why we take a holistic approach to wellness with programs that strengthen your body, exercise your mind, and nourish your spirit.
“Why Croasdaile? Primary is its location in a planned neighborhood providing green spaces, walking trails and access to two lakes. Also, the fitness center and classes help keep me mobile and active.”
— Carol Roycroft, Resident
Our fitness center offers group classes and personalized programs geared to residents’ needs and abilities. Popular classes include yoga, Zumba, Pilates, tai chi, aquaerobics and dance. Residents can also work out on the treadmills, stationary bikes, and elliptical machines in our strength and conditioning room. There are also fitness stations along the walkway in Sparks Park, our outdoor recreation area.
Participating in social activities helps you feel less isolated and may even add years to your life. At Croasdaile Village, residents have a wealth of opportunities to connect with others and make new friends. There are special-interest clubs, classes, committees, neighborhood gatherings, and trips to area attractions, plus annual celebrations, birthdays and anniversaries.
Being intellectually engaged boosts your mood and may improve your cognitive skills. Book discussions, bridge clubs, lectures, discussion groups, lifelong learning classes and cultural outings are just some of the ways Croasdaile Village residents stay sharp.
A strong spiritual sense can offer hope, strength and peace. Croasdaile Village residents can nurture their spiritual selves through worship services, Bible studies, music performances, meditation classes and more. Our chapel welcomes residents of all faiths and our chaplains are available seven days a week to offer guidance and support.
Serving on resident committees, volunteering on and off campus, leading discussion groups, and becoming a mentor offer opportunities for giving back to the community. Helping others is good for everyone, including yourself. Even a small act of kindness can make a big difference.
Our beautiful 100-acre campus enhances the quality of life for residents. There are more than 15 miles of paved walkways that wind past meadows, woodlands, wildflowers and a lake. Nature lovers will be in their element. There are also gardening areas for growing flowers, vegetables and herbs.
