Frequently asked questions
What is a CCRC?
A continuing care retirement community (CCRC), sometimes called a Life Plan Community, offers independent living plus access to a continuum of care, if ever needed. As an independent living resident, you live in your own maintenance-free apartment or cottage. Repairs and grounds keeping are all included. In addition, residents enjoy delicious chef-prepared meals in the community’s dining venues or can cook their own meals in their independent living residence. Should the need arise, residents typically have priority access to short-term rehabilitation and therapy services, assisted living and skilled nursing on-site. Memory care may also be provided at some communities.
How do I choose an apartment or cottage?
You can view floor plans on our website. When you’re ready to see available residences in person, call 919-234-7828 or fill out our contact form to request a personal appointment. We’re always ready to answer your questions and help you find a residence that’s just right for you.
Is there a wait list?
Yes, normally there’s a waiting period for residences to become available. Our Future Resident Program gets your name on the list so we can let you know when your preferred residence becomes available. To learn how to be added to our wait list, contact our marketing department at 919-234-7828.
