The first thing you’ll take away from Croasdaile Village is a warm, welcoming feeling. As you make your way around our community, you’ll always find a smiling face to greet you. Our happy residents and employees capture a sense of camaraderie, of everyone looking out for one another and their individual desires.

It’s no wonder that new residents feel completely at home so quickly, forming the bonds of friendship that last the rest of their lives. With new friends, enjoy the incredible amenities that Croasdaile Village offers or take a trip outside of campus for a show or art exhibition.

Whatever retirement offers, it’s all within reach at Croasdaile Village.

Resident Volunteering

Always wanted to volunteer, but couldn't find the time? Volunteer opportunities abound in Croasdaile Village and in the greater Durham. Here you might volunteer on-site in the library, chapel, gift shop, gardens, health center, or serve as an officer or committee chair for the Resident Association. Perhaps you would like to teach a class, serve as an Ambassador or a dining host on occasion. Are you musically talented? Put your musical or vocal talent to use performing in programs and for special events or share your artistic gifts and exhibit some of your work in our resident art gallery or special displays when requested.

Or you may prefer to become involved in the greater Durham community and Triangle area. A number of our residents volunteer off campus mentoring or teaching children, delivering meals on wheels, assisting with Habitat for Humanity or supporting other local charities or deserving non-profit organizations privately or through their churches or civic organizations.
